Took tHe course online, pretty simple and straightforward. The online lectures are on the long side but worth it and you can speed them up 2x so they are not slow. The course is good for science majors. Would take again. Not as bad as others make it seem easy A just watch the lectures.

Overally, id say the class is doable. There is alot of material for a small test. Some questions are confusing as theres more than one possible answer. Dont wait until last minute. Only 200 points was annoying. So in the end i did an 80%, but i checked my grade and he gave an me an A, so makes sense if he adjusted for bad test Qs. Dont buy book.

He's got a ton of energy and had great wisdom and insight. They came in the form of occasionally rants, but the guy gets it.

We were expected to watch at least 10-plus-hours of powerpoint lectures every week, and take a test. The lectures could have been condensed, but parts of them were out of date, and he frequently went off on tangents. The verbiage on many of the test questions could be interpreted in different ways, so he'd trick students into wrong answers.

There was a RIDICULOUS amount of work for this class! I'm talking hours and HOURS and then more hours of power points. I would not take this class again or recommend it, unless you have 60 hours a WEEK to just sit there and listen to powerpoints. Even if you do all that the quizzes are extra confusing.

This class was terrible. Online powerpoint slides were hours long with him talking with an annoying lisp and rambling through the slides. 5 hours worth of powerpoints slides need to be memorized for a 10 point test. Then the test questions are confusing.

All biology majors should take this class. Basically, it teaches you how support evolution and oust creationism. Not only is it very interesting, but if you put forth some effort then you'll get an A. It was online and the class layout is very student friendly.

Class grade depends on 3 exams, and the final is optional. More than half the time he has a personal story that SOMEHOW goes with lecture... which might show up as x-tra credit on the exam. Main reason i stayed focused in class was b/c he constantly called you out for sleeping, txting, etc. BEST part of class..."who's got a story of a bad trip?"

Professor Toth was the most outrageous teacher I have ever had, constantly breaking off into random stories which amazingly were related to the material at hand. He does not use the text for this class and his tests are all over his overheads. If you want to do well; show up and pay attention.

He is by far the worst professor I've ever had. His lectures are useless - he'll give the same one five times in a row. His test questions are ridiculous and require decoding. He's a total ass and his lisp is just obnoxious.

His lectures are hillarious and extremely liberal. He makes no attempt to hide his liberal views. His is anti-religion, and makes it a point to tell the whole class that. He often diverges on pointless topics.

I really wanted an A but earned a B. If you like Bio you will pay attention to the details I didn't. He will throw in bonus questions on exams. Avoid being absent, unexpected details will come to you after reviewing graded exam. Record the lectures rewrite notes. He sometimes goes quick and wont repeat. He wants you to write everything he sais.
