Very strange experience. The 2 weeks had no idea what was going on then all the sudden everything made sense, but he teaches the opposite of everything that he tests you on. Ridiculous. Had to drop because I was too far behind to understand the rest of the class.

Absolutely terrible teacher. I am the type of student that can go in for lectures and be good to go. I went to lectures, re-read chapters, made notes and (for the first time ever) went to tutoring. I even did practice questions in the book! You can work your behind off and still get nowhere. DO NOT TAKE.

I advise you find another teacher. He is a brilliant man, however he is unable to relate the material to students. He expects them to all be at his level. He doesn't answer questions clearly, it seems as if they are a burden to him.

he knows his stuff but he doesnt know how to teach it. doesn't answer questions clearly, i left class everyday not knowing what was going in or ever learning anything. i had to drop the class and now im retaking online with whats supposed to be a better teacher... NOT a good teacher!! Do not take his class if you want to retain any information or understand what is being taught. He is a chemical engineer and expects that everyone knows the same things he does!! In my class when asked if he would stay after one day, to help a student who asked for clarity on a subject, they don't pay me for that!! I am retak

He assumes students know everything about chem just bc he does. tests are very hard. notes are very unclear. does not like to be asked questions. seems like a nice guy out of class but not a good teacher. (i took class at CCC not LCC)

He expects you to come into the class knowing the material. If you read the book before that day's class you will be fine. His tests are very straight forward, if you now the material you will be fine. This was one of the most challenging classes I have taken, but I had never had chemistry before this class.

I've never taken a chem class before, and I felt that he just assumes that you know what your doing I attempted my hardest to focus in class, ask questions when needed to but still found myself failing the lecture portion of the class. Find another prof. if u can, esp if you have no experince with chem. If u take him just know u will work hard!!

I thought he was a good teacher, you just have to pay attention,take notes, and ask questions when you don't understand something..he was also very helpful in class and lab. He has a good sense of humor also.
