Kind of a strange guy. He's very intelligent and sincerely tries to teach, but he doesn't communicate well, so you really have to pay close attention to what's being said. Tends to go off on tangets a lot. Probably not my first choice, but he's okay.

Dattero is a decent professor, he likes to babble a lot though. If you pay attention to what he is saying (and don't play on the Internet while in class), you should do fine. Beware his second test, it was all fill-in-the-blank. He also tests over acronyms. Final was comprehensive, but copy/paste from earlier tests and some new material. Study!

Poor teacher and HORRIBLE human being. I had him at FAU in FL in 2001 for my senior project Java class - a week into it my father died. He refused to allow me an incomplete. Upon learning of my father's death he whined about himself and how he could not ever let a student take an incomplete. I should of kicked his ass right there...

Easy class. There's really no reason to rate his teaching because you didn't even need him to teach the class to pass the test. The material is easy to understand but after 5 minutes you become distracted by playing on the internet. No reason not to get an A in this class.

Dattero really reminds me of Mr. Burns from the Simpsons. That being said, she's not a very good teacher. He babbles a lot, and can't seem to teach the material clearly at all. A disappointment of a class; all he instructed us to do was copy and paste everything from our previous assignments. Therefore, we didn't learn a thing.

Very hard class. He seems to have a hard time getting his point across. Not a very good teacher at all. Test are really hard. Class is pretty much optional because he just reads off of powerpoint that you can access outside of class. Very unclear.

Class is extremely hard. Pay attention every class and do not miss. One good thing is that the final can replace all of your test scores (the bad thing is it will probably have to). MOVES VERY QUICKLY OVER MATERIAL and does not turn back.
