Amazing prof, and a genius of a man. Has apparently memorized every dynamics and kinematics proof that exists. Will help you endlessly outside of class. Pretty sure if he had his way their would be no exam and just a project cause he loves design so much. Only complaint is that he makes everything seem so easy that you underestimate how hard it is.

Anderson....didn't have him for 228. In the 1st day of 328 he explained the relationship between all of the confusing formulae for 228 and everything I didn't understand in 228 became clear! bah! why couldn't I have had him for 228 as well?? Best prof ever.

I had Anderson for 228 and 328 as well and he is definitely one of the best profs in the department. He explains everything in a way that is cristal clear and is always willing to give extra help if necessary.

Best prof I ever had at Queens. I heard Mech 420 was a hard course but took it because I knew Anderson would be able to teach it to me crystal clear. He's a fair marker and really cares about his students.

Straightforward blackboard lectures that are extremely clear and well-paced. There's just something about his talks that make it so clear but not boring. Potentially hard subject, taught very well.

Amazing Prof! Excellent approach to teaching the course - logical and systematic instead of "just use the formulas" type of thing. Makes material that's dry by nature interesting and engaging.

Professor Anderson takes a no-nonsense approach to the study of dynamics and vibrations. Problems are tackled with straight-forward, understandable methods. He also fits the classic physics teacher stereotype. Non-stop blackboard and dry wit. Awesome.

Comment:
His teaching style is the old-school blackboard way, but he's incredibly effective at explaining the methods used to solve problems. I used to hate body-fixed coordinates, but he made them really easy to understand. Also, go to the tutorials, he's very helpful and will nearly show you how to do the assignment questions.
