Definitely knows his material and is skilled in the fine arts field. I took three classes with him and he was always very helpful to me..Sometimes the critiques can come off a little harsh, or perhaps the words he chooses can come off that way. He really means well for the students and promotes artistic growth. He's a cool guy if you talk to him.

Ron's very good. A lot of work and the supplies are costly, but the class is amazing. Took a couple of independent studies with him in addition to the original two classes. He's a very interesting guy and has lived a full life, ask about it, seriously.
