One of the finest, articulate professors at this school. There should be more like him at Duquesne, but then again, why would they stay? Go to class and enjoy.

for all of his new students: This is such a great class. I learned so much from him and now I'm working in securities defense and I have Professor Ricci to thank. His power point is the best and he really knows how to break it down so you learn the material. Be sure to go to class.

Students in the other section wish they could turn back time to when only Professor Ricci taught this class. I am one of the lucky ones that learned corporations from him. He is obviously a real corporate lawyer and not just someone who simply repeats what they read without really understanding the concept There should be more professors like him.

Ricci is one of the best at Duquesne. If you pay attention, you will master the subject. One of the toughest for law students, but Ricci makes it one of the most enjoyable classes for all 3 years. He makes it amazing. If Sekula taught this class, we wouldn't learn a thing.

Great professor, go to class and take note of all the hypos. and any time he says "this was on exam in past years" because it will all be on your exam. Also, don't buy the book, seriously, you will never use it. I didn't and got an A.

Ricci is great. Powerpoint, but don't sit back and relax because its all on the final--I mean all of it. Difficult subject, but very interesting. I couldn't imagine learning this material any other way - it would be very painful to do so. He made a boring subject not so boring. Great professor. Other Professors should take note.

I enjoyed the power point and the low-key, non-confrontational approach to the study of law. He makes learning the subject easy. Finally, someone who cares about law students.

Professor Ricci is living up to his reputation. I've never had a professor who was more organized or better prepared. This prof can teach and he's a nice guy to boot. Still, this is pretty sophisticated stuff. You need to work at it.

Professor Ricci is the best professor at Duq. Law school. He practiced law in the field that he teaches and his examples are superb. He is so organized and prepared, it is a treat to go to his class. The other professors there could take a lesson or two from him on organization, clarity and making the subject interesting. He makes you learn it!

Based on his teaching/style it is clear that he is concerned that the students get a clear picture of the law so as to be able to apply that law in the real world (hopefully!) one day. Clearly lays out the rules and applications, and as long as you put in the work needed to learn the rules you'll do fine.

Everything is in the Powerpoint slides (which makes it hard to stay awake when you're tired). Ricci makes it very clear what is important and doesn't hide the ball. Don't bother with the book - you can pull up the 10 or so cases you actually need on Lexis or Westlaw.

Doesn't play hide the ball. He puts it right there for you - in powerpoint - go to class, do the work and you will learn. He knows his stuff and is more interested in the making sure that the students know it than in typical law school scare/confuse tactics.
