Professor Cohen is ambitious and will likely prepare more material than the class can cover. Professor Cohen enjoys teaching & has a dry sense of humor. I love her as a person and a professor! She's so funny and really knows her stuff! There are weekly 10 question quizzes online which should be grade boosters and she drops the 2 lowest. Her tests are hard, but that's just the nature of the material. She is absolutely one of the best professors I've had while at CNU!

Simply do not take her class. KNOWING THE MATERIAL is simply not enough for this woman. She's a naive grader, often makes mistakes, but is too proud to admit them. As a student who's never received lower than a B at CNU, I'm extremely disappointed that this woman will directly effect my GPA, and ultimately my degree. F- as a professor. Dear Lord

If you want to take a class that makes you the teacher this is the class for you. She expects you to learn 90% of the material on your own. The textbook is massive and incredibly detailed. The tests are impossible, the only reason she is still teaching is because she gives everyone C's whether they get a 78 or a 65.

Professor Cohen is a really good teacher! The class itself was tough, and her test were hard as well. If you do all the work expected of you, you should do fine. If you get stressed easily and are not a good test taker I wouldn't take her class.

Prof Cohen is one of the best professors at CNU. That being said, her tests are very difficult. But they are manageable if you prepare properly. Read the chapters, use the study guide, re-read the chapters, write clear essays explaining each legal principle and you'll do fine. I enjoyed her class thoroughly.

rediculous. I have a 3.2 GPA and the best I could do on the tests was a 67. she doesn't realize its an intro to law class, and expects students to master the giant textbook.I work very hard in this class and I'm hoping for a D. take walker if you can

She expects her students to learn and understand the material. She is a tough but fair grader. The only problem I see people having with her is that they are lazy and do not want to do the work. Read the chapters before class, that way you can understand what she talks about and it won’t seem like she is moving too fast.

Difficult grader. Gives rough drafts an A, but harshly grades the final after following feedback. Examples in class are "duh" type stuff while the material on tests are the exact opposite and hard to identify. Tries to rush material in some cases. Seems to get offended by anything and doesn't mind making a scene out of it. Too many other problems.

This class is a challenge. She demands a higher level of thinking and work. The papers get easier as the semester proceeds. If you pay attention in class it is easy to figure out what she is looking for in a paper and the essays on the exams. If you want to coast; this is not the class. If you want to improve; I feel she is one of the best.
