Ronnie is THE BEST. She's funny, kind, and gets you to experiment with mark making and seeing in ways that feel natural to you. She helped me in so many aspects: composition, speed, gesture, storytelling, style. She is by far one of the best professors I've had at Pratt.

No real bad thing to say, but I felt like I wasn't getting proper feedback with her. It wasn't really helping me grow as an artist. Illustration class with her didn't challenge me as much as I expected and I felt like I needed a bit of a push.

Ronnie is super nice and approachable. Drawing on location is a great way to get off campus, and draw! Not very much hw bc most work is done during class, with editing and formatting it for hw. Travel time is annoying though.. sometimes up to an hour both ways.

I took Ronnie for Illustration I & II and she was really great. She never gave a harsh critique and always had helpful advice about work. Her assignments are usually 2 weeks long. As long as you don't miss class and are willing to correct your work and show an effort, she will grade fairly. Great professor overall!

One of the "Disciples of Passalacqua". She once said "Creativity is B.S., it (illustration) is all about what information you put in." However much you agree/disagree with that statement is a good gauge as to whether or not you'll enjoy her class. Personally, I think she's right on the money.
