Comment:

Very passionate and knowledgeable! She lets you have a full page(front and back) cheat sheet on her tests. Her questionnaires are a bit confusing, but she lets you submit a rough draft to let you know exactly what's expected. Do those! Also be sure to listen during lectures because there are quizzes after every chapter, but they aren't hard.

Worst professor everrrrr. lectures were long and so boring , her questionnaire are ridiculously hard and doesn't explain them good. literally don't recommend her at all. had to drop out because I hated it and questionnaire were super confusing and hard please do not get her.

Not good at all. She contradicts herself in lectures often. Will give vague directions on an assignment then doc points when you dont do specific things. Usually doesnt answer questions, shell just start talking about something else. Doesnt really seem like she knows what shes talking about.

If you want to be bored to death then this is the perfect class for you. Tests and quizzes are worth a lot and if you did the extra credit she offers it would still not help your grade at all. I dropped it as soon as I could.

This is the most boring class I have ever taken. She lectures heavy, lots of pop quizzes. If you ask her a question she's very short and never understanding. She just messes with your head and gives you unnecessary information that will not be on the exam. You have to study way more than what will be on the test. Would not recommend.

She does not help her students out when it comes to questionnaires. When students ask for help she gives them the run around and chances her mind about the questionnaire's question on how she wants it answered with no clear direction. In lectures she confuses students about the material.

This class was very interesting, but professor Garza made it a total nightmare, she gets short when you ask her for instructions. Garza does not like to help you and is very ambiguous with her directions for assignments. Truly hated going to her class, and this is coming from a person that got an A in her class.

I really loved this class, Ms. Garza really put passion into what she taught and made it interesting to learn. I recommend this course and her being the one to teach it!

30A is one of the easiest classes. Basically if you show up, take a few notes, and do your questionnaires, you'll pass the class. It's just very lecture heavy which makes it boring. If you want to be engaged, do not take this class but other than that, it's super easy.

Yes her class is easy to pass, but her lectures are boring! She does not stay on topic and all she does is literally talk talk & talk. If you're the type that needs someone interesting for you to understand the class I don't recommend her at all.

Although Mrs. Garza is a heavy lecturer and she gives out tons of information, her class is not difficult to pass if you apply yourself. She assigns questionnaires which are a must to pass her class. Overall i enjoyed her class. She made me appreciate my culture more. I would definitely recommend her.

Mrs. Garza is a wonderful teacher who is always there for her students. She does everything in her power to help you learn. She lets you take pop quizzes with a group and encourages talking. She's awesome at allowing extra credit and is always amazing at answering emails. I've learned so much from her classes. She is a wonderful teacher.

I would take her again, her lectures are boring but it's a pretty easy class. Gives out so much extra credit!!! Good teacher, fast at responding back to your emails and helps you if needed. Great teacher over all. Simple A !

I liked professor Garza because she's very passionate about her subject. You must attend class because she gives daily lectures and gives quizzes at the end of them. You can work with a partner & she lets you use a cheat sheet for her exams. Do the work and study for exams & you'll be fine.

Very nice teacher. I enjoyed her class very much. Super easy,just do the work. With quizzes she let's you do them with a partner. What else can you ask for. Exams are not hard at all, she even lets you take a cheat sheet for final. Best class I've taken by far.

Professor Garza is great! She is very passionate about this important subject. She emphasizes proper wording of subjects (indigenous) for the entire class as a means of expanding students' sometimes narrow vocabulary. She is ardent about students learning the subject and will help you every step of the way, as long as you ask. Overall great class.

Extremely annoying, she constantly uses the word indigenous. She's passionate about the topic because she has no life besides the topics so if your really up for it. Go for it. Honestly i don't even know how she got threw college herself
