Dr. Caminero died on 7/17. She battled cancer while teaching for the past 3 years because she loved to teach. Those who found her disorganized probably had no clue what she was going through. She was an excellent professor with whom I took 5 courses. Anyone who was ill-prepared for her courses and bashed her here should be ashamed. I'll miss her

She is a very nice lady, a little old to be teaching and if you don't know Spanish fluently its going to be tough for you. Destinos are decent but you have to watch them in the library :( Have to memorize all the territories in Spanin :( still, a very nice lady, lol

Dr. Caminero is one of the best profs at MU. I have taken undergrad & grad w/her.If you can't understand her, you need to pay more attention. The only way people can do poorly in her class is if they are slackers.She'll help anyone-if you don't understand something & don't ask, then it's your fault.

Why is the same person rating Dr. Caminero many times and saying she is disorganized? Her class is structured but Dr. C. is such a bubbly person it may seem to weak students like she lacks structure because of her willingness to discuss anything and clarify whatever students don't understand.

Took her current events Spanish course. It kicked ass! She loves to debate political issues, and is very intelligent. Castro, migration, drugs, language, etc - she will debate anything. Very cool profe!
