Loved her class! I was nervous since I dread science but she made it easy enough to follow and was always there if you needed help. Just don't miss class! You'll be behind. She's an awesome teacher and I would jump to have her again.

Professor Rakers is good at what she does. She has been teaching for a while and it definitely shows. Rakers is always there to answer your questions and she knows how to take complicated material and put it in a way that is easy to understand. Her tests are straight forward and generally easy if you pay attention and do the homework.

Dr. Rakers is wonderful. She is very approachable and always willing to help. There are 4 exams, 1 final. Online homework called OWL every chapter has hw then it is all due the day of exam. Key to pass the class is to do OWL. Always gives reviews before an exam. My favorite professor. She helped me pass chemistry. Highly recommended, esp for nurses

For Intro to Organic and Bio Chem, exam was 85% of questions used form tests from the semester. Come to class esp. for review days for tests because the packets are usually all the answers for the actual test!!!

Ridiculously easy. She gave us all the work and answers to the homework in class. Tests were open book and open notes. She just gave equations in class, which made the homework and tests go quickly, but I can't say I really remember any concepts from the class.
