Comment:
Greek and Roman Lit was admittedly a pretty dry class, but Zimbardo is so sweet! She's an easy grader and only gives two papers all semester, both of which are easy to do without reading the books. Participate/show up to class, though, or she gets mad! Also, sometimes she brings candy for the class.

boring but brilliant. she's oldest teacher I've ever had, but so she loves teaching. it's kinda easy tune her out and her lectures don't really lend themselves to student participation. but greek&roman lit is quite easy. just show up to class, and turn in assignments (which are few and far between).

Although her Greek/Rom. Lit. class was really slow, I loved occasionally listening in on her lectures. She writes the whole thing down, like an essay, and just reads from it through the whole class. Our midterm was like 3 pages (take-home) with super easy prompts (1 was a pretend dialog you make for 2 characters). And she doesn't believe in Finals!

I'm not sure I have the correct course number, b/c I studied with Dr. Zimbardo a while ago, but she is AWESOME and AMAZING and the best professor you can get! Students are lucky to study with her.

I took one of her Shakespeare symposiums. I will admit, her lectures can get pretty boring. She doesn't involve the class at all. However, if you can keep yourself engaged and listening, she really is brilliant, and she is clearly passionate about what she teaches. As others said, very easy grader.

Had her for Greek and Roman Lit. Hella easy. lectures are super boring. apparently had a no laptop policy, but i walked into class and half the class had a laptop out and were either on facebook or watching something unrelated to the class. Slept through most of the class and still got a "A".

Tales and Transformations-easiest class in the history of life. She requires a lot of reading, but you don't do much with it. By the end of the semester I just stopped reading what was assigned because it was pointless. In the beginning you should keep up because there are a few essays. She is a very very easy grade. Easy class but very boring

Do not under estimate this lady. She also has an attitude problem and loves to gossip about other students. She should retire!!!! Just beware that she is not as easy as she acts or says..

As one of the most inspiring professors i have ever had i applaud Rose Zimbardo. DO NOT i repeat DO NOT use big words in your papers. Most professors like lofty language (eg: mundane, ergo, consequential, haphazardly, etc), Zimbardo does not.

ZImbardo is amazing. She has a great understanding of Western literature. She is a relatively easy grader. Just go to class and be engaged. Show her that you care about the class. Also work hard on the two papers, and you will be fine. She is very fair and one of the easiest graders ever!
