Understanding music she is overall ok but the class is very hard. The test all come the book so you need to read your book. Also test are once a week so if you do not have willpower and not determined I would not recommend it.

Took O'Bourke for a 1/2 semester course (6wks). Tests ARE in fact difficult, but you have to read the book and take your own notes! The notes given by the book online are helpful as well as the listening exercises. O'Bourke is a lenient and wonderful teacher but I would not recommend her to someone looking for an easy A or doesn't have willpower!

Taking this class online. Wouldn't recommend this teacher for an online class. Not sure how she is in class, but there is absolutely no teaching involved on her part. When you ask for help, she tells you, "Take better notes". Very unsupportive. Don't recommend.

Took this class online during summer (6 weeks). Test are every week covinf 8 chapter (typical for 6 week class). Test are extremely hard, i read all the chapters and power points and still failed the test. I would not recommend this online class to anyone!

Ms. O'bourke is a beautiful teacher and 2nd mother. I'm in "for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow isnt enuff" and she has truly blessed me with her support and wisdom.
