I took her course 3 years ago and still remember how arrogant, mean, narrow minded, and biased she was. A lot of Spanish teachers are known for being disorganized but she's definitely one of the worst. It's impossible to communicate or reason with her even if you try hard and visit her office twice a week.

Awesome prof! I wasn't even all that interested in spanish lit before i took 2200 and now i can't get enough of it. She has high expectations but as long as you make an effort you'll be fine. She only seems tough on you because she wants you to be the best you can be :)

Extremely disorganized on the board! Never seen anything like it! Knows her material really well though, but critizes students if they dont have the same opinion as her-> not a very good charateristic for a teacher. Classes are the same, never changes anything.

Don't think she thinks too highly of native speakers. She marks and treats them differently. Understandable if you are a slacker. I worked my ass off, tutored others in the class who in the end got higher grades than I. Not open minded either.

VERY demanding. She could be good, but only if you learn auditorially, b/c that's the only way she teaches. When she writes on the board, it's disorganized. She's also very unacommodating. If you're not naturally good at the subject, RUN AWAY.

She really knows her stuff, the class was great, but she can be very intimidating IF you don't do your work. If you always prepare for class, then she will be a blast. She doesn't tolerate slackers.

Brilliant woman, excellent prof, but needs to learn that intimidation is not the best tactic.
