best and easiest professor i had, he's extremely laid back when it comes to due dates and attendance (he never checks) sometime without warning he wouldn't show up. if you don't mind him not showing for class sometimes then i highly recommend his class for anyone who has a busy schedule, its an easy A.

very laid back professor....do not take him if you want to learn anything. only goes over stuff that you already learnt in psych 101..do not buy the book. he never uses it. very nice though...talks about his experience all the time that are pretty interesting though

Terrible grading. Ruined my GPA without any comments. Great knowledge and a good professor, but grades off the wall. your friend may have an identical test reslult with an A while you get a C. Does not return emails or phonecalls.

He was probably one of the easiest teachers I've ever had. I missed 2 classes but he never took attendance. My friend and I got the same grades on our papers and our test but I got an A in one of the papers and for our final grade he gave her a B+ and me a C+, and she missed about 5 classes, not to mention the final...great prof!

Had him for child advocacy, 2 1/2 hour class. Never stayed even close to the full time. Prof. Hirschfeld is extremely knowledable about the topics and is willing to help anyone. 3 easy five page papers, and an exam. Very fair grader, and flexible with due dates. This class is highly recommended for someone who has a busy schedule.

Well, very unroganized. Doesn't take attendance but sometimes is not so good because I had a family problem and he thought I miss class purposely.Said my essays were a "C" because it wasn't well documented. I feel dumb and very offended after taking this class. My friend never handed his final paper and was absent and got a b+..how is that?!

The smartest teacher I ever had! Have you ever seen a professor get to the class with nothing written down, and still keep track of everything and never forgets where he stoped!?! Just an amazing person, Doctor, and teacher! If anyone have anything bad to say about him, I am sorry, you got to be either not to smart or blind, no offense. :)
