All you have to do is pay attention, or read the powerpoints he makes available on his website. Everything is as straightforward as it can get, you get one homework a week and you have the weekend to do it. Everything is easy, he has a little accent but you can still understand him. He is strict on attendance...

Although this class was an easy A, because I am good at self-teaching myself the material, and the tests were straight forward from class power points, professor Roy is awful. He is an Indian man who struggles to explain things thoroughly and doesn't understand when you ask questions. Take a different professor if possible.

I've had him for 3 classes and I wish I could have taken someone else instead. The material is usually really hard, he explain things only using formulas and equations, does not really give extra help, and is just confusing. One good thing is that he's generally easy. Exams are based on homework problems.

This is my third class with him in a row, he is not very personable, material is pretty difficult, boring classes. The reason I took him 3x however is his grading policy is very straight forward and easy to follow

ANNOYING! He repeats himself! His accent is very heavy and hard to understand. He doesn't call on you, just teaches from start to finish. Quizzes could be hard at times. I read the textbook in order to learn... Otherwise I had no idea what was going on!

He's very passionate about economics. Yells a lot and has an accent. If you're willing to pay attention he is very clear about things. Repeats himself until he's sure everyone understands. Would recommend! Nice guy

He's an odd guy, but you can tell that he loves what he does, and he gets realy enthusiastic at random times. Not a hard class if you study, he puts all of his notes online for you to use.

Can be difficult to understand at times due to his accent. However, not a bad professor, but I had to do a lot of textbook reading in order to keep up in his class as he is not so clear. Quizzes every other week. Midterm and final are pretty identical to quizzes. Not a hard class if you study.

He is a really nice professor, you can truly tell that he loves what he does. Sometimes during lecture he gets so excited that he literally starts to screams what he is trying to get across to the class . The material is difficult but he is always available to help his students.

I loved this professor. The grading system was clear and more then fair. Test and quizes were easy and straight from the HW. Still I learned by paying attention in class. The way he explains stuff u can be stupid and still understand. Its not hard to pay attention in his class cuz he yells out of nowhere. I signed up for two more of his class.

Very annoying! But he will go over things many times until you understand, sometimes too many. You get a blackboard quiz(hw) every week, 7 in class quizes and 2 tests (midterm, final). He lets you know whats expected of you and as long as you pay attention and do your work youll do just fine.

I received an A in this class, but only because I'm good at self-teaching; you need to be for this professor. He put a chapter on the final exam that he never even covered and told us to learn it on our own time. He repeats the same thing a million times and is very boring and annoying. Don't take a class with him!
