Made me hate numerical methods. Most boring course I've ever taken at UofT. Lectures were useless, I was falling asleep most of the time. The only thing you need out of lectures that you probably wont find in the book is error prop analysis.

OMG!!! I LOVE THIS GUY! HE MAKES MY NIPPLES HARD WHEN I SEE HIM! HE HAS AMAZING STORIES WHICH CAPTIVATE ME AND MAKE ME WANT TO SPECIALIZE IN NUMERICAL OPTIMIZATION! Truely a great experience. His course was very insightful to scientific computing and was very entertaining and enthusiastic. I wouldn't want anybody else to teach this and would hope he would teach 351 too.
