Im not majoring in graphic design or anything like that, my major just requires it and honestly this class wouldve been better if I actually had enough time to work on the projects during class instead of the professor lecturing and leaving no class time to work. voice is very monotone so wouldnt suggest taking it in the morning

He's a nice guy and the projects are very easy if you're familiar with the software, but he's a terrible designer! His design sense is really unprofessional & the website design he had us create wasn't responsive and used outdated techniques like using images as buttons. Good class for an easy A, but not for actually learning design.

He absolutely cares for his students and is very understanding. Projects are reasonable and will teach you how to code w/Dreamweaver. Tip: Use W3Schools as another helpful source! It's a demo-heavy class in the beginning, and towards the end has class be simple work days on projects. Will help students one by one every class. Very laidback class :D

I love Prior so much, he's so helpful! Although, if you aren't familiar with coding or software, you might get a little lost in this class. I have a background with using Photoshop and also web design so that made this class pretty simple for me. If you enjoy making digital art, then this class will be a fun breeze for you.

This class is not the easiest, but you will learn some stuff about Photoshop, illustrator, Dreamweaver, and inDesign. Be prepared to spend extra time in the Art Dept. Computer lab! His in-class demonstrations are very long, but make sure to PAY ATTENTION and write notes as he goes along, because you can get lost very easily.

BEST teacher! Extremely laid back but you learn SOO much. Very VERY encouraging, never puts you down. He's very polite with his criticism. Helps you a LOT. Really makes you think about the purpose of all the elements in your projects. BEST CLASS EVER. Just have to pay close attention to his demonstrations. He will slow down and answer any questions

he's a very cool teacher. any/all questions will be answered in a very very drawn out and lengthy manner. hes extremely helpful and very clear on what he expects to do well. i took the summer class and we had 4 website projects. not all requirements are listed in his site, so ask him for specifics or you WILL be dinged! other than that, EASY A!

One of the best professor at SDSU.We need more professor like him.He is also funny in a dry sense.You have to think about his joke for a few seconds before you get his jokes. Very clear and easy grader. Wish he teaches more of the higher level classes. Highly recommend him as a teacher.
