Great sense of humor and very helpful even if you don't have much experience writing. He helps make writing seem much simpler and more straightforward than many of us think it is. Attendance is very important if you don't want to lose points.

Anyone who thinks Dr. Ward is anything but a wonderful teacher is clearly not college material. His logic class is what ultimately convinced me to study philosophy and is probably the best college class I have had. If anyone gets the chance to take logic with russ Ward, jump at it!

Dr. Ward taught me how to write. He clarified the little things we'd all wondered about but never wanted to ask, he taught us logic, he taught us how to tap into what we really cared to write about. Most valuable, he motivated me to succeed.
