plain and simple...he sucks! you learn through the homeworks and practice tests so going to class is useless he blocks the light on the overhead so you can't see anything and you can see it, he usually takes it off before you can copy anything down

Don't bother coming to his class, you will learn nothing from this man. Lehigh's tuition is far to high to allow such a low quality professor teach a course. I probably would have learned more from some TA who didn't speak english. Lehigh owes me a refund

shaffer is not a good lecturer. he stands infront of his projector light so you can not even see what his notes say! don't go to class, nothing worthwhile comes out of it. teach yourself through the book.

By far one of the worst professors I've had at Lehigh. If you take the class with this guy, lecture is totally useless. Tests were pretty much the same as practice tests he handed out, so it ended up being relatively easy.

Friendly guy. The lecture is USELESS, and does not correlate to what you are expected to know. If you read and do the problems in the text book, you should be golden.
