Race and Racism was the most important class I have ever taken, hands down. One of the most passionate professors I have ever had, and he really cares about his students. His lectures can drag at times though because it's a lot of stories, but if you pay attention you will learn a lot about the real world. Has an amazing life story.

Classes are boring, however the notes given in class help with writing the papers. Attendance is mandatory for all of the classes. You do get a movie time and again. Easy overall.

Cares about students but very boring; he talks pretty slowly and is very laid back. Cares about individuals' needs and tries hard to make sure that people understand concepts; moderate success. Takes attendance.

Prof. Williams doesn't just repeat out of the text, he delves into the real world implications of economic theory and makes economics accessible and interesting in ways that most professors can't. One of the very best professors at Wheaton. Econ of Race and racism- best class I have ever taken.
