rushes through her lectures because we spend half the class doing silly group activities. there is no time to go over any concept from the book or lecture you didn't understand. Then she's like OK Test in 2 days on two info heavy chapters she didn't even go over yet. You basically teach yourself with the textbook and it is COSTY. DONT TAKE HER!

She's so vague sometimes, and really specific other times, it's hard to know when to take her seriously. Additionally, she's one to change the requirements for a project half way through it. She also asks really subjective questions on her tests and then has them be true or false. She's nice, but watch out.

Dr. Benns-Suter has weird office hours, but if you ever run into her, she will literally help you do anything. She helped me with projects inside of her class and with others. She went well out of her way to help me. The tests are easy if you study her powerpoints. The projects are lengthy but very easy if you start early.

Very nice and funny. It feels pointless to show up to class when you can just read the book and still get an A but attendance is MANDTORY so go.

Maybe the first time teaching this class, but it is awful. it isn't worth it to read the book because her for her tests she picks 3 concepts to ask 50 questions on the test and I cannot for the life of me figure out how she picks these things. She isn't approachable and I hope her relations class is easier than adjustment

She is a good prof very excited when she teaches u dont even really have to study because the class is common sense things. Only negative things is you only get 3 absences shes strict about attendence ur 4th one is 100 points off your grade :( and the hour group presentation class consit of a journal that u turn in the end of the semester. EASY A!

Dr. Ruth Benns-Suter is a great professor. Yes, the class is easy but it is also very fun! There are 2 projects, 1 is a Self-Change Project, and the 2nd one is a group project. The tests are all multiple choice and are easy but each test is a little harder than the previous one. MY FAVORITE CLASS!!!!!!

This class was as easy as they come, but don't take it if you want to be inspired or if you want to cultivate a love of psychology. Imagine taking the most obvious self-help book, and translating it into a semester-long course.

Dr. Benns-Suter is the best professor ever. She is ver approachable and made class very fun and enjpyable. Does not have a FINAL MIDTERM so people should be grateful. I would recommend that everyone take her. She is very funny and class is a ball.

Students self-disclose while she critiques your performance. Very uncomfortable for introverts/ private people. Very strict on attendance policies with little flexibility. Tests cover large quantities of information that she never teaches/lectures on.

Worst teacher at the University. She has the peer health educators teach half of her classes, has students give presentations several other classes... and the few classes she actually has a lesson plan.. it is straight notes from overhead that grad assistants made with stats from the 80s. BOOOOO!

She is the worst professor I have ever had in my life!!!! If you don't share personal things about your life in class, you won't do well. She needs to find a new job!! DO NOT TAKE HER

Course requires self-disclosure of personal information. I found this course extremely beneficial in my first semester of graduate studies. Dr. Benns-Suter is very approachable in her teaching style. I woulod recommend this class.

This course requires you to self-disclose information about yourself in a fishbowl group setting as you are observed by Dr. Benns-Seuter. You will recieve very little feedback about your grades. Good for extroverts not introverts.

A lot of busy work in this class. Made you work in groups and I hated that because, like usual, half the group did all the work while the other half partied.

I didn't pay thousands of dollars to do complete a workbook. If this hadn't been a required class, I'd never take it.
