This toadish woman seems to hate her job, the material, the kids she's teaching it to, and everyone else she has encountered in her life. Very bitter and pessimistic, overall just unenjoyable to be around. She just types the book into convienent powerpoint form and displays it on the projecter for students to furiously copy down. Stay away!

This is a difficult class, but she is an overall good professor. DO NOT expect to go into the class and lay back, never take notes, not attend class, etc. You will learn and do well if you pay attention, read in the textbook, and take EXTENSIVE notes

I hated every single class. I hated going to the class three days a week. I hated seeing her at 9:00 am in the morning. I hated Statistics. I hated the class, but I got an A! If you take her 2100 Stat's Class, do the homework and moderately study for the tests. Make sure you have a decent understanding of material. You will be fine.

Might as well teach the class to yourself. More of a professor who just takes the info from the book and puts it in a power point and tells you why you need to know this if you want to succeed in life. AVOID at all costs. She can't connect with students. I'm sorry to say it, but she has been the poorest professor I've had at ASU.

This teacher was excellent. She would explain anything you asked and encouraged you to ask questions. If you read the assignments, the tests were good. If you didn't read or pay attention, you didn't do well. If you are responsible and work, you'll do well and this is a great class!

very tough teacher, she doesn't explain anything and you have to read the book yourself to understand it. if you can keep up with her, the tests are okay. doesn't do much good to go to class, but if you sit in the back you don't have to pay attention.

To this point, this has by far been the hardest of my college career. She is pretty unclear of what will be on the tests. If ask her a question that is not on her level, she will make you feel like an idiot. Very hard. Don't take her.

Knows microeconomics really well. I didnt get much out of the classes bc she's hard to follow sometimes, but the tests come pretty much straight from the book, so read it and you'll be fine. Answers all questions; wants you to make an A; really helps you out.

Not a bad economics teacher. If you're not good at math, economics might be difficult for you. Also, if you are a lazy bum, economics might be difficult for you. Not a hard class if you learn the concepts and stay on top of things. McRae is neither hateful nor unfair, she gives fair tests and does her best to answer INTELLIGENT questions.

Mary Ruth is an odd bird. Very stand-offish in class. Expects you to know the material as well as she does. Tests are very hard, but if you talk to her outside of class she will help you out. Later having her husband, L.T. McRae, for Econ 2040, I understood why she is the way she is.
