this class was a waste of time its like remedial drawing the entire time we drew with charcol then switched to conte crayon if you are a studio art major or need to take drawing 2 dont take him he wont teach you the things you need to know take rivers decan or harron its harder but ur better off!!!

You WILL learn in this class. don't miss more than 2 classes. fair grader, allows work to be REworked for higher grade. just take picture of work before so work after has comparison. i recm'nd this teacher to all students. an interesting teacher. he does talk alot but has a lot to say on a lot of different topics. i'm going to be graphic design and i like that he talks about that part of the program. most studio professors discount graphic design and animation and burkhart takes those majors seriosly. a good teacher.

I have to say I have learned alot about art from him...He has a unique way of teaching and pushing his students, it is almost lyrical. Great Teacher loves what he does and you can tell. Highly recommended. You'll have fun!
