Mr. Smith is a good person! However,he will rip your exams apart and take points off for even miswording work he is nearly impossible to pass. Teaching is dry and boring. Never curved, even the class average was low. Only 10% of the class got A.

Not a bad class. Just go to class and read the textbook. Tests are open book but it really isnt much help in some cases. He is sometimes tough to understand but its easy to get a B if you do the little homework assignments.

Mr. Smith was a somewhat helpful teacher. If you take his class be prepared to read the book , do all modules, and ask for help! His class is kinda confusing, & you must talk to him alot to keep on track. His test are based on the module assignments, but the Final was the easiest! If you can avoid him okay.. if not be prepared to work, I got a B-

he sucked - he is freaking 68 years old and doesnt understand anything. he thinks his tests take 15 min but in reality they take the entire period. i would say do not take him unless you are a math major and can figure it out for yourself... did i mention that he is 68!!!!!!!!!!!

bad teacher no clarity in teaching methods goes all over the place and doesnt throughly explain material basically expects you to teach yourself which is crazy considering all the $ you pay rough tough grader with no room for error given he will rip your exams apart and take points off for even miswording work he is nearly impossible to pass

Took this class over the summer and it was great! We always got out early and he was a very easy teacher. Three tests all multiple choice with some problems and that's it! The problems were even open book. I would def. take him again!

Mr. Smith is a nice guy but his grading system is a little skewed. 2 tests and 2 papers. The class average on the first test was a 67%. So naturally, not much room to improve. Expect to stay up late studying. I am a straight A student and struggled for a B.
