Very monotone and boring to listen to, but if you ask questions he will make sure to answer them. Although you must read and understand every word of the chapters to be able to get an A in the class, he throws very few curveballs on exams. Wants you to learn even if he can be condescending at times. This is an important class for the future.

One of the most useless teachers. Shows up to class and only reads off his textbooks. He doesn't do example problems, and he is horrible at clarifying the topics. And his test can cover pretty much any word in the textbook, which means you'll have to read every part of the book. Avoid him at all cost.

Difficult to understand. Talks monotone and classes are hard to sit through. Test are difficult. He'll make you feel like an idiot in class sometimes. He's more helpful if you visit him during his office hours. Avoid if possible.

Took him for Engineering Economics. He speaks in a monotone voice and lectures from powerpoints that are taken word for word from the text. The material is more difficult than you'd expect and its hard to learn it in class, but he is always willing to help outside of class and thats where he really shines. Textbook sucks though

Terrible teacher. Shouldn't even be allowed to teach at the junior hight level. I'm not even sure he understands statics. He read directly from the book, and then the test questions were homework questions we had alread done from the book. He did however have a nice curve at the end of the semester. I would take someone else if possible.

Dr. Saboury was one of the nicest teachers I had, if you do the work. His thing is you have to try. The homework was ussually really hard and took 3-4 hours per assignment, but he will help you out in anyway. I had probably a low B but he bumped me up to an A because of how hard I tried, he takes into account the hardness of the material.

He may rub a lot of people the wrong way to begin with but he will change if you just let him know what is the problem. He is very approachable and understanding. His test are difficult and that is to be expected. His expectations are pretty high. Put fort the effort and you will get the grade.
