I took her for Social Psych and taking her again for history and modern view points now. She is a good profesoor. Tries to make the class lively. Textbook use high. She is truly helpful and gives extra credit for presentations. One of the better psych professors at Rutgers Newark. Sweet lady!

SHE'S AWESOME!!! SHE'S KIND, FUNNY AND SWEET! SHE REMINDS ME OF A SWEET GRANDMA! LOL MUST READ BOOK IN ORDER TO PASS THE CLASS. PARTICIPATION IS KEY! IF SHE RECOGNIZES YOUR FACE, YOU'RE GOOD. Hands down one of the best professors at Rutgers...she is the main reason I became a Psych major. Strongly suggest taking her McNair classes at the law school if you are taking her for 101 or 102...it's just a completely different atmosphere from the lecture hall. Notes are straightforward. Exams come straight from the text so you must read!!

had her for history of modern psych, a requirement as a psych major & dont recommend her at all for this class. expects you to memorize useless information about a crap load of psychologists. she couldve done a better job at breaking the class down into more understandable chunks.

She is a nice, but not a good test giver, short essays are mandatory at least two that are worth 20pts. Out of 70 students, about 5 got A's. She expects you to remember word for word in the text. The exams suck! If you work or you're a parent - this is not the class for you, trust me, unless it's your only class. Attendance mandatory.

Cerny is such a great professor. This class counts as a writing intensive but barely did writing. Only two papers, 4-5 pages each. Short critical thinking question and a ten question quiz on the chapter from the book every week. Didn't take notes, just pay attention. She provides powerpoint slides. Recommend!

very nice professor...knows her stuff very well..very interesting...go to class pay attention, read ahead, participate in class...she has her favorites. so sit in front. Do good in first 3 exams...and don't have to take a final. I would def. recommend her.

Nice Proff.... Very very easy...has 3 exams if u get a 90 avg, u r exempt from the final..n exams r very straightforward..just study the study guide(i think theres 1 on reserve in dana), go to review, n read the txtbook a little bit. I am taking her again for 102 next sem Easy A!!!!

Really nice professor, extremeley helpful and the exams are not that difficult, took her for 101 and 102, got A's both times, and ended up learning quite a bit as well...TAKE HER, PS--the best part is, that if you get a cumulative 90 avg. on 3 exams you are exempt from the final :)

I took her for Psy-102. She is ok professor but her exams are really easy. Just do the icliker, online quizzes & study guide ques u can definately get an A. Attendance is mandatory he is strict about it. But if u get A in first three exam then u don't have to give final or attend the class.
