Likes to show youtube videos she thinks are very funny. They're actually not, but it's a great time killer! A lot of partner work/class participation involved as well. Helps to keep up with the course work so you don't get too far behind and sound foolish in class

Comes across at first as a little bit nervous and timid, but after a few classes she becomes very engaging and tries to make classes fun. Extremely helpful and understanding when you have a problem or question. Otherwise, keep up with what's discussed in the lectures and you'll be very well off!

If you are good at reading, writing and listening in French but need to improve you ability to speak in French. AVOID this teacher! Discussions in class r rare n only allow 1 or two ppl to talk. The class is not very interactive, she is extremely dull and classes are barely bearable. If you have the option to have a different prof, I recommend it!

Samantha did a very good job of teaching all of the concepts in 212. She even managed to do it in a mere three weeks (I took a summer course). The concepts were all explained very clearly and she is very approachable and friendly. Take her class!

Awful! I am shocked her rating is so high. I have never had a professor so mediocre before. She has NO passion for French.. No drive.. No organization. Attendence is important but PAINFUL. If attendance wasn't part of the participation marks, you could honestly learn more from just reading the books. She should not be a professor.

Superb prof! She is freakin' awesome. She talks in french in class most of the times, so it really helps learn the language better and she does such an amazing job at it that if one pays attention, they can understand everything she is doing in class. Highly recommended prof! Bonne Chance!

She's very comfortable teaching now, and quite organized. I guess that comes with experience. The quizzes and tests aren't dictated by her, it's a departmental thing, so she does a good job of making sure you're prepared for it. You can't fal asleep in class b/c she speaks french all the time, so you have to pay attention to learn! Tres Bien!

Good person, good teaching. I did learn a good amount of French under her. However, the frequency of assignments and quizzes is downright barbaric. If your GPA is too high, give her a shot, she'll help you kick it down a notch!
