Really enjoyed taking a class with this professor. He is super nice and his exams are average. I do feel like you must participate to do better. He is very fair and is willing to help anyone who he sees tries their best.

Long, useless lectures, delivered in a monotonous thickly accented voice. His scribes are written on both edges of the white board, so those sitting on the sides can't really see what he "writes." His back blocks most of his writing. So while he is already on a different topic, students still try to decipher what he just wrote.

He's very smart, very boring and his accent is so heavy that it's very difficult to understand him most of the time. He reads verbatim from the powerpoint slides and will spend over 1/2 the class going over ONE hw problem and correcting his own work on the whiteboard, yet blames the class for not having enough time to teach all of the material.

This is the best accounting professor I ever had at Pace University. It is a tough class and he tried his best to make it clear to understand and remember. My recommendation is read the text book before you sit in the class. For grad level, he expected you know some basic knowledge before his lecture. His exam is very similar to CPA exam.

i got A for MBA640. a lot of homework to do. he has strong accent. you have to use connect to do homework and take both exams. exam has lots of questions. multiple choice, ture/fause, and fill blank to prepare financial statements. exams have time pressure, but as long as you read book, it is not that hard. he is fair grader. you have to read book!

This class is alot of work, if you want a good grade do all the homework and go over it before te exam, he knows accounting well and if you participate you will learn how it relates to your major. The tests are like the harder homeworks, and sometimes tough to understand. If you prepare for them you should do fine, but be ready to put in the work

Dr. El-Gazzar knows his stuff very well. If you study what he teaches and practice the problems that he talks in the class, you should be fine. By the way, he just recovered from lower back surgery. It's understandable that he needs to take a break after standing over an hour or so in class.

The man def knows his stuff but his teaching style can be improved. He basically summarizes each chapter as a word document and expects you to do the problems he assigns. HW problems were very doable and if you can do those you will surely do well on the exams. Speeds up the class twoards the last couple of weeks. Surprised I got an A, expected B+.
