He's a bit difficult to follow at times, and repetitive at others, but make no mistake, he knows his subject better than any other professor you'll ever have and is somewhat of a legendary figure in his life achievements- school president, national athlete, involved in international affairs. Dr. Saliba is a wonderful professor. He may repeat himself but it is because he has the wisdom to know what things are important and need to be remembered by the students. He may grade differently than other professors but he does so based on the effort he thinks that student has put into their work. He is by far one of the most helpful professors!

Saliba loves the sound of his own voice, and the print in his own book. Just regurgitate his words and you'll be fine.Do well on your first test in your first class with him, and you'll always get the same grade in everything in every class. Once wrote "Are you reading this?" in the middle of an essay for him. Got it back with no comment and an A+.

I had Saliba many moons ago. Without a doubt, I have more admiration for him and the way he taught me. He was very difficult on me because he expected the best from me. I did not become an attorney nor legislator. But it has been the impact overall of what he has meant to me in my life

I honestly, Don't see what you guys are talking about! Saliba does repeat himself a lot, but he really tries to get his point across. With the clarity issue, don't take a class from a foreign professor if you have issues with accents.. Saliba knows what he is talking about! He's great!
