Simply put... this man needs to retire. It is an insult to know that my tuition dollars are paying for professors like this one. The class is a complete joke yet for some odd reason Danna grades ridiculously hard. Avoid this man!

Great guy, has a real passion for Media Law. Has some great stories to tell. Need to read the book otherwise you will be lost in class. Need to attend class as well, each class is 4 points and you learn everything on the test in class. Tons of handouts but they are extremely helpful on the test. Overall i recommend Sam the Man, he is an epic guy.

He throws out a TON of information. Handouts galore, enough to level a forest. Nice old guy, knows his stuff. I was lucky, lots of beautiful girls in this class so it made it tolerable. Biggest crush of the year, Brianna in the back of the class. GORGEOUS!

He's a nice man and he means well, but he needs to quit teaching. The class material was interesting enough, but you will spend disproportionate amounts of your time unnecessarily confused and frustrated. We probably could have learned ten times the amount had with a different, more clear instructor. Attendence is mandatory.

What should be an easy class - is ridiculously hard. 4 speeches - basically everyone gets a "B" and 2 tests - he gives you a packet prior to test - just memorize it. DO NOT BOTHER TO BUY THE BOOK! waste of your money... attendance is MANDATORY - its actually worth more than the exams....DO NOT TAKE.

He is very old, But very nice and wise. Alot of people hated this class. I enjoyed it because it gave me public speaking experience. And you learn from your classmates' speeches. Go to every class- he grades on attendance. And study for the tests; there are 2. If you study, you'll ace; if you don't you'll fail. Simple. I got a hard-earned A.

This class was not worth the agony. we, as future employees,are expected give presentations, communicate effectively, etc. We could have learned an incredible amount in this class, but instead, were forced to listen to others speak EVERY DAY. Danna did not give one lecture, and his feedback was incomprehensible and unhelpful. DO NOT TAKE

WORST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN. He does not lecture/teach AT ALL. The exams/study guides are ridiculous, with poor grammar and useless "knowledge". If you're content with a B, take it. It's practically impossible not to get one. But forget an easy A. Everyone gets practically the same grade, regardless of effort. Don't waste the tuition money.

Easy class as it really is just the 4 speeches, and mc midterm and final. HOWEVER..the review guides for these tests are not grammatically correct english AT ALL & are very confusing, only to be further confused when "clarified" by him. Questions are ambiguous with answer options being "very true/quite true" with 1 answer; reason I didnt get an A

Dr. Danna is a nice guy, don't get me wrong; however he doesn't teach anything! He won't even spend an hour lecturing. Instead, every class period people give speeches. He's pretty critical and attendance is graded. Midterm & Final are M.C. and over a lot of random stuff. It's not hard to get a B, and with a little work, you'll get an A, I did.

I agree you must have patience to take the class. But Dr. Danna is an overall nice guy, he's not trying to break his students down. Exams are multiple choice and he gives the questions beforehand. There's oral presentations. I learned in the class, but could've learned 40% more w/another teacher teaching same subject.

Pub speaking. He is so ez grader. no one gets lower than a B. He's a bit uppity some days but like participation. 4 speeches 2tests. Tests compose of stuff he handed out in class and even gives you all the test questions and pg number to find the answer in handout. cakewalk
