Comment:

He is a very nice professor, but make sure you have the book. If you don't, you WILL fail. He doesn't put grades into canvas which is not ok, and he only has 4 tests and one research paper that he talks about once on the first day. If you don't like to read and study, then I don't recommend taking this course. He gives reviews for all of his tests.

Comment:

He is very nice, take advantage of his advice. He gives extra credit and lots of opportunities to help your grade, his tests were kind of hard for me, but it seems as if they get easier throughout the semester. At the beginning of the course he tells us to READ THE TEXTBOOK, he means it. He's passionate about his lectures, I recommend!

He does not use any form of presentations, he sits at the front of the room and just talk and is sometimes hard to hear. He does not put grades in canvas. He gives no homework besides one paper, that he talks about once at the beginning of the semester and never mentioned again. There are 4 tests he makes which are 50 multiple choice questions.

A normal class is lecturing as he goes through the book. TO STUDY: Use Quizlet to memorize the vocab because the tests are 90% vocabulary and the other 10% are questions which he gives the answers to IN HIS LECTURES, so go to class. He always reviews. You need the textbook, no exceptions. He is really funny and nice also.

I took Hagan for Spring 2018. He is an amazing professor and lecturer. He relates the lectures with real life experience. The class was essentially chapter by chapter of the book. We had 4 tests and a research paper of two typed pages. No assignments or anything else. The tests were easy, if you read the book you pass with A.
