Kalman is the professor of my DREAMS! This Jewish, Canadian made me passionate about history. He challenged me and made me work for my grades- but it wasn't painful at all! I miss him and his ponytail.

He is a sexy Jewish French Canadian man. What more could you ask for in a professor. He's really organized in all his classes and is really on top of his syllabus so you're never confused. He'll help you if you ask. He's actually cool and laid back.

He grades hard on the papers, but the midterma nd final arent extremely hard--attend most lectures and it will be easier. no attendance policy. Dicussion classes on fridays aren't that bad. Three books for most classes: two text and one work for essay.

Class isn't too bad since he gives an overhead-outline for each lecture. His papers are kind of rough though, and he always requires about three books (two text books and a novel) for class. No attendance policy!
