Worse professor in the world. His lectures barely match with the notes and you never understand why he says what he does. When he's speaking, you often find yourself wondering "what could possibly be testable that he's saying?" I studied my butt off for this lame elective and still barely sqeaked by. Bottom line is he's a jerk.

I read every freaking word in the book, study my butt off more than any other class and still failed every single test. He words the questions so that you have no idea of what answer he wants because depending on how you look at it there could be more than one and you are surely to get it wrong. Run take another professor.

Two hours of class during the summer sucks but not a bad prof. Test are some what difficult but only if you dont study or do the outlines. Do the homework, study, GO TO CLASS!!! and you will do fine.

All he does in this class is lecture, he can really get boring. Also there are 4 or 5 tests and then little homework assignments each week that really can be a pain in the ass but help your grade. Also he always seems to be late to class and always looks at the ceiling when he teaches, really annyoing when you are trying to talk to him.

Most college classes are lecture format including this one. The movies in the class are pretty interesting. He was always willing to help me out and I got A's in both classes. Read and study the book. Tests are long and come directly from the book.

whenever i had his class i just got the impression of a burned out teacher--he doesnt like teaching, doesnt appreciate his students, and will tell you straight out, primarilly notes and lecture-----make life easy--TAKE SOMEONE ELSE FOR SOCIOLOGY--it could be a fun class but he sucks the life out of it

I don't know about the gender discrimination thing... Anyway, read the book at least 10 times and you may stand a chance. He may as well ask how many letters are on certain pages, that's how hard his tests are. Quite a challenge, too much of one for Ktown students I'd say. If you can memorize the whole book and every word, you'll get a B!!! yea!!

impossible and frustrating. he is extremely unclear in lectures. if you read the book cover to cover, you might stand a chance. tests are impossible and you see names/ideas/vocab/theories for the first time when you're reading the actual test questions. don't take him. not a fair grader either

If u want to do well in his class, then u MUST memorize the book word for word. He cheats you on points, makes total out of less, but still takes away how many u got wrong, like -5 out of 10, he makes it out of 8 and u get a 3/8 taking your % down. avoid at all costs, I dont know where he thinks he's teaching.Memorize the book and u might get an A

If he says it's NOT on the test,it IS on test. Tests are very hard,?s come from between the lines in book or from least likely of places. Says you don't need to know numbers, but that's the bulk of what's on test. You DO need the book,he goes exactly by it. Test ?s are confusing,they aren't clear of the background of the ? & he says it's ur fault!

After reading these comments I was terrified to take him, its actually not that bad.He is knowledgeable about Sociology.His exam questions come directly from the book.Also, attendance is necessary since he hands out worksheets to be handed in the next class. If you not there, you do not get credit.
