A ton of work for an online class, the most I've had in an online class in my 4 years here. Two really long discussions due every week with a two-ish page chapter response due every week also. A minimum of 20 replies for full participation.

She likes to blast people. She is unclear with assignments then she embarrasses people for not doing what she wants. This was an online class and it was nonstop work. You had to log in everyday and assignments took forever.

Although the course was online, it was as much, if not more, work than my capstone course. She may say that you will not be spending every day on the platform, but that turned out to be false; you will be on the platform every day. She grades you based on the extra amount of work put in. She told us we need 2 pages, and complains it's not 4 pages.

I have taken her for an online class and I thought it was going to be a decent class but sure was I wrong. We have stuff to do everyday, including the weekend. She expects people to post a couple days prior to the due date which is absurd and she is will blame you for not following her confusing and lengthy directions; good luck writing her papers.

Dr. Lakey is intelligent and is very effective at conveying class information. She has expectations of her class, and she is not easy, but we learn a great deal. She is fair and will grade according to the effort the student puts into his or her work. Keep up on the readings and assignments and you will get an A or B.

Dr. Lakey is a great, fair, professor and I enjoyed having her. Her lectures are interesting and she shows a lot of short video clips to back up what she is teaching. You work in groups often to help to understand the material. While her tests and homework are challenging if you pay attention to guidelines, lecture, and reading, you will succeed.

Dr. Lakey is a very intimidating person. She is very strict on grading, and has a special format for writing papers. You have to keep up with all the work, and don't fall behind on the reading assignments. Her tests are also very hard, but she is willing to help you improve your grade.

She is a wonderful teacher. Understands a lot about communication rather than just reading out of a textbook. She is a wonderful person and helps you if you get lost. She applies everything to real life situations. But, if youre the type of person who likes to slack off, dont take her

Very nice lady.she is helpful, when you need.show up to all classes and don't be late or she will say something if you are.11 chapter responses (easy for me, not for others). 4 homework assignments, she is a hard grader on them. don;t be surprised to get an F on one. Tests are pretty easy as long as you do the test reviews and study notes and h.o.

Boring. Annoying. Grades WAY too hard. A lot of group work. She cares a lot about participation. gets mad when no one answers. First day of class she told us she was a dictator. Constantly writing papers. She thinks she is all that. Hard tests.

Easy class as long as you show up. Only 6 homework assignments and your grade magically becomes a B at the end. Shes more strict then she has to be and sometimes it is out of hand. Other than that not a bad teacher.

Very easy class, very understanding and helpful. Knows what she's talking about. Test are easy if you do the study guides. No quizes, uses power point. Only 6 homeworks per semester. Makes subject interesting and fun!

She's a good teacher and grades fairly. Homework is minimal, with about five 2-page papers being due the whole class, just make sure you keep them on topic and you'll get a good grade. The tests are kinda hard, but if you pay attention in class and use her test review sheets you'll be fine. And don't yawn in class without covering your mouth ;)

My test grades definitely didn't show what I did learn from this class. She says to answer the packet of questions and read the book and you'll do fine...well thats bull. The papers aren't hard to write, she just grades them hard. If you don't agree or have any experience just lie about it. I didn't and ended up getting lower scores on them.
