I have read some of the negative posts. They must have been written by the students who did not apply themselves and then were upset that they did not receive an A. Dr. Rahman is a fantastic professor in every way. Period.

Rahman is a good professor. The bad: she can be unclear, assign long papers 5-10 pages, make you do weekly readings that you have to write about. The good: she is extremely nice, extremely easy grader, forgetful about assignments, attendance isn't mandatory. No book neded all the reading was from websites.

Shes really nice and helps you if you have any questions but it kind of unclear with her grading. Her tests are directly from the questions and answers she gives you for each chapter but the test is only 40 questions when there are over 300 combined questions from the chapters. Gets off topic a lot but super nice.

One of the best classes that I have taken so far at FSU. Great professor and she makes the topic so interesting. I also enjoyed the consulting project. I am going to add "consultant" to my resume. Great experience.

This is one of my most favorite classes that I have ever taken. Dr. Rahman really knows her material and makes class very exciting. I love her first hand stories of marketing around the world. Her class requires us to think beyond the text. The consulting projects with downtown Framingham Brazilian businesses was awesome! Take her class!

She tells stories about traveling the entire time and gets nothing done. We are more than 5 classes behind on the syllabus and I kid you not, it is Feb 27 and we have only started Chapter 1 in the textbook...yet we have an exam on the first 7 chapters in few days. We have been taught nothing about the workings of international marketing.

her tests consist of 2 essay and multiple choice quest, which are ususally tricky. Easy grader on the essay, & ques. are givin to u ahead of time. Projects are annoying (invent one) & u can skip every class and still get B's on the exams

She appears easy but don't be fooled- her tests are impossibly hard and she doesn't give you any of the info you need to do well. She doesn't even cover material on the exam most of the time- you're just expected to know it all from the book.
