Comment:

Can one class be a life changing, even life affirming experience? I would have said "no". That is until I had Dr. Gokhale as my instructor for CE4400 class during fall 2016. The class was nothing less than a Religious Experience. I am going to seriously miss not having him again as my teacher next semester.

This is a 1 credit hour class in which I put in more time than two 3 credit hour classes! He expects a lot. He is the most organized professor and his directions are clear. He is preparing the students (seniors in this case) for the Real World. Having real world experiences he is one of the rare professors who stradles both theory and practice.

Dr. Gokhale is a hard professor, there's no way around this. (He gives a lot of bonus points though.) But you're going to come away from the class with a deep understanding of the material. I took an 8am class this past semester to have him again.

One of the BEST professors at Vandy!! Once you get over the accent, this man is brilliant and also an excellent teacher. He really wanted us to do well. Gave us many extra-credit opportunities! And he loved teaching and loved the subject, it showed everyday! Very good!!

He makes Statics much easier, and he really likes the subject-- thats why he teaches it so well. He gives tons of bonus point/extra credit opportunities, but many of his homeworks are down right hard.
