Great professor! I had her for Basic and elementary 1 Spanish. She's very helpful and makes the class fun and you learn a lot. You do have to give an oral presentation, but it's not so bad. I only wish she taught elementary 2, if she did I would definitely take it!

Her class was very hard. Her test are like exams, you have to study for 3 hours everyday just to pass them with an C. Very nice professor, will do anything to help you. I had no problem contacting her when I needed to. She was a very nice professor, but she does not mess around with Spanish.

Paez teaches clear and and tells you what you have to know. She has a sense of humor, and does not discriminate anyone. She is fair on everything. she is a strict on attendance. If you study the vocabulary and verbs you'll be fine on her tests. I would take her again for later spanish courses.

She moves through chapters so fast by the third day you will be learning how to congagate verbs. $120 book set, won't help you out of class. If your able to move through a language fast and pick it up, you'll do good, but if your a studier like me...it will stress you out! love her accent.
