She was very helpful! Chemistry is not an easy course, but putting effort into it will get you a good grade! She was very clear, polite, and understanding. Reviewing notes will help for quizzes, and reviewing quizzes will help with tests! Labs did not take up the full amount of time; however, some were time consuming, but interesting.

Hey!!! Ms. Axford is a very good professor,In the semester there are about 9quizzes, 4 exams, and 2 formal lab reports,and the accumulative final,I attended power studies and i passed with an A,there is hwk.. but only if u want to do it,she doesnt collect it and its not required its only for ur own benefit,if u study and make questions ull do good!

Pro Axford is a pretty hard teacher I would recommend taking someone else. One test consist of 4 chapters and thats how ur test r idk about you but thats a lot for me. When u do lab make sure to do things right cause she takes points off. She finishes 1 chapter in 50 min and if u have 5 0 10 min she starts next chapter. STAY AWAY! take another Prof

The class itself is hard and Ms. Axford tries her best to make it comprehensible. Ask questions!Don't slack off, missing a day will put u a chapter behind! Chemistry is already a hard subject, she makes it even harder. If you want to go to class and not learn anything, I suggest you take her. There are millions of quizzes, 3 tests and a comprehensive final that is worth 30% of your grade. So if you come into the final with an A and decide to miss it, then you will get a C in the class.

She doesn't teach lectures in an organized way. Makes a difficult subject even harder. I retook this class at SDSU and the teacher made everything seem so much easier and understandable just by organizing material better. Not recommended although I believe she's the only organic chemistry teacher at southwestern.

This class is a lot of work, 3 exams, 1 cumulative final, 8 lab reports, & 10-11 quizzes. If you do the homework & ask questions you will do okay. Professor Axford does not curve any grades, accept late assigments, or give extra credit. It is not an easy class, so make sure to spend plenty of time studying & do the work! Flash cards are helpful.

Ms. Axford is a great professor. Her lecture is very interesting which makes you learn. She gives you time to study and the exercises guide you to study. She is very helpful when you have questions. If you put your time to review the material in her lecture before the quizzes and exams and turn in the lab reports on time, you will do OK.

If you like Dr. Bakhiet, you'll like Prof. Axford. Since this was just a beginning chem class, and most of the students that were in this class are going to be nurses or dental hygenists,she didn't grade as tough as she could have, in comparison to having students who are majoring in chemistry. Graded easy,loved her class, hated the lab reports

o.chem is so hard and she makes it even harder. She doesnt curve grades. she gives quizzes every week and there's always lab report to turn in and believe me she's very anal about every thing. i.e spelling, grammar etc. but in fairness to her she gives time for students who really wants to learn. she gives study sessions.

Its near impossible to get a decent grade. She gives soooooooooooo much work, that you never have time to concentrate on reading or studying the material. The numerous lab reports are ridiculous! Say good bye to having any kind of life besides organic chemistry class! You have been warned!!!

she's alright. if you're looking for someone to hand feed you everything this isnt the teacher you should take. her tests and quizes are reasonable though. as long as you actually put the time in and study the recommended problems she gives you, you'll be fine.
