Comment:

She gives very difficult tests and quizzes, but if you learn from your mistakes on the quizzes (which account for 5% each) you can do decent on the tests. Read, read, read the textbook! She is not very helpful, but offers extra credit towards the end of the semester and drops the lowest test and quiz grade. Don't get discouraged!

She is impossible to understand and goes through all of her power points so fast that you cannot even take notes. If you go to her office hours to ask for help she says, "What do you not understand? I'm not going to reteach you the whole lesson." AVOID HER

most of these comments are right, Shes very very hard to understand, actually its near impossible. Although shes very lenient with her grading she barely teaches. The material that s gone over in class is nothing that is covered in the test. Shes a nice lady, but should not be teaching introduction courses, makes everyone want to quit their major

Tests are difficult but if you read the book and know the definitions they are not as hard as everyone says. Every test has 32 questions (30 count) and every quiz has 22 questions (20 count) so you basically get a 2 question curve to start with. Tests are then additionally curved based off the top score so you can end up getting a nice curve.

DO NOT TAKE HER! Not only is she impossible to understand because of her thick accent, she is not capable of teaching. Her notes bounce all over the place, and her tests are on entirely different material than what she teaches. Even if you read the book, the class is still impossible to get a good grade in. Avoid her at all costs!

Her class isn't that bad. She teaches right from the book so if you read you should be fine. It's not hard to do pretty well because she gives quizzes before every test that count for practically nothing and really help you prepare for the tests. Also she drops the lowest quiz and test grades. She's fair.

Worst ecnonomics teacher at The University of Scranton. She talks so fast and has a very thick accent you can't understand what she is saying most of the time. She is condescending and if you answer wrong she makes you feel foolish. Avoid taking her.

she is an okay teacher little confusing but just pay attention and its not bad. She gives notes some ppl take them some dont doesnt make i havent studied my notes and i have gone 2 80's so pay attention. Best grading system 78-80 is a B.

She is a very nice lady. Come to class take notes and study them and you'll do fine. Quizzes and tests are not that hard. She drops the lowest test and the lowest quiz. If you don't understand, ask, and she will explain it again. Reviews before all quizzes and exams. Quizzes and exams are short and almost identical.

Class is so easy. Very clear, she writes everything out on the board and draws tons of diagrams. All you have to do is memorize what is there. Her accent may be tough to understand, though. She drops lowest test and quiz, and offers extra credit, and the grading scale is the easiest.
