Overall, Professor Harrell is a good professor. Sometimes class gets a little silly, but I enjoyed it and learned a lot. To really experience the best of Professor Harrell, however, I reccomend talking with her one on one. She was always ready and willing to help outside of class, as well.

Might be a great mythology scholar, but she's not that great in Greek. Some of the kids in the class knew things better than her, eg accents (101 class!). We spend 10-15 minutes at the beginning of each class listening to the summary of last night's OC.

She is cleary a bright and influential scholar; however, she cannot conduct an effective class discussion. It would do her well to lecture more. I came out of the class having read a lot but unfortunately feeling like I learned nothing more than my own insights.

Extremely bright, knows what she is talking about. Problem is with presentation; extremely spacey and often forgets to cover points adequately. Superb reading questions, outline reading well. Problem is not committed enough - once didn't get questions out because watching the OC... Please.

Professor Harrell really knows what she is talking about, and is vary helpful and approachable. Class is interesting and the points she makes are always clear. She also has a good sence of humor which makes the class even more enjoyable.

Professor Harrell is a surprisingly brilliant teacher. At first, I wasn't so sure, but the more I listen to her speak, the more my jaw goes slack with awe. Smarter than she lets on. She's also very pretty. Like Drew Barrymore. Definate chilli pepper.
