She is a good person, incredibly passionate, and she gets excited about a lot, but she just has too much on her plate to teach well. CONSTANTLY reassigning and forgetting homework, then asking why no one in the class turned in an assignment she told us not to do. You don't really do much in her class, but you're paying a lot, take a different class

She is a great teacher! Some students didn't understand her philosophy within the class, but that was because they chose not to pay attention during class. She is very sweet and allows you to re-do papers to get a higher score. If your paper says "talk to me" do it, she'll tell you exactly what needs to be fixed. She also allows notes on tests.

She talks to much and none makes sense. Each time she says "are we clear" makes me want to wack her in the head. She treats you like a child getting mad because you don't understand but gets overly defensive when you question her. Poor poor judgment in this class don't take it

Absolutely frustrating experience. Shows movies, but interrupts them to info dump philosophy, which must be taken as fact in her class, not opinion. A lot of the things she says is just wrong about the material. If she loves philosophy so much, why doesn't she trust the works to speak for themselves, and for us to interpret them? Avoid.

She isn't very clear in her speech at any point in the class. Often times she will ask questions looking for word-specific answers, so if you have the right idea but use the wrong words, you're wrong. She seems to talk down to students, which is also frustrating.

Terrible class. Every handout will confuse you more. She is so disorganized that the only way to figure out what to do for homework is to actually ask her yourself. She creates definitions of words, contradicts yourself, and seems to dislike teaching as a whole. But feel free to take the class if you like being confused!

A very knowledgeable professor, but will literally drive you insane. She is very disorganized and a very tough grader. I have had to redo every paper I have done, when some of the answers were right. she graded my paper where I got an A. I accidentally turned in another copy and received a C. I regret taking her class.

Here's the deal. She is very knowledgeable about Myths as well as being insightful. Her comments and discussions are intriguing. That's the good part. Bad part is she is so disorganized and blames you for not being up to date. Her demands for the "journal" which is really an essay are ridiculous as well. Tough grader, take at ur own risk.

Horrible Teacher. She makes no sense what so ever and instead of just reading the myths and enjoying them, she makes you read them and attempt to find the hidden meaning in every sentence. Don't take this class if you wish to keep your sanity.

This was quite possibly the DUMBEST class i have ever taken in my entire college/high school/elementary school/day care career. she made us watch bad movies, and look for deeper meaning in them... that she had come up with herself. made no sense, and she is insane.

Her interpretation is the ONLY interpretation as far as she is concerned, even if you do outside research and prove her wrong. The biggest perk about this class is she lets you rewrite everything multiple times to get it to her expectations.

Sarah is the BEST TEACHER I've probably ever had. She's got so much interesting information packed into that awesome frizzy fro of hers! I really learned a crapload from her, and she picks interesting subject matter to look at in class. Great professor-- don't hesitate and TAKE HER CLASS.
