Loved this class! She makes the information so interesting and really goes out of her way to make sure every student succeeds. You need to do the reading and come to class and you will do fine. She just isn't a pushover.

Not the right person to be teaching this complex abstract material. My main issue with her is her level of inconsistency. The textbook and assignments go into phenomenal detail which is offputting from her cartoon-like, 1 sentence summaries which she bombards you with during lectures. Avoid this professor at all costs.

Prof. Raskin is a great professor. She cares so much about her students. Many people don't do that well in her class simply because they don't know how to study for this class (brain and behavior). Just memorize her slides ---literally memorize everything in them and you'll get an A. She makes the material so interesting. I highly recommend her.

Lectures are dense, must do the readings. Class is interesting, but can feel overwhelming when you're studying for the tests. Syllabus is crystal clear, lays out entire semester and grading procedure. An "A" is very do-able if you're motivated. She can be hot and cold, sometimes friendly, sometimes snarky. Genuinely cares about the students. :)

She's hilarious and an awesome professor. Definitely one of my favorites. As a neuro major I asked her to be my advisor. In this class she throws a lot of information at you, so you have to be prepared to work. However if you ask her to clarify a point both in and outside of class, she will take the time to do so. She loves it when you go see her.

Easily the best teacher ive had thus far. She is always so energetic and ready to teach. It is more than apparent that she loves what she does and that makes the class far more engaging. She is very smart herself and therefore expects a lot from her students, but she bends over backwards to help you, even letting students call her before a test.

Professor Raskin is one of the most balanced professors at Trinity. She listens to student feedback, but is definitely not a pushover. If you have a question, ask! She does truly care about each student, but you need to show you truly care first. I would highly recommend taking any one of her classes.

This class was great. Professor Raskin is a little unorganized (a lot) but if you can handle that you'll be fine. If you are confused, ask or email her and she will tell you exactly what she wants. If you do it like she says you're golden. For my class participation was huge and she encouraged it the whole time. Would recommend!

She seems like a nice person. However, the amount of information she expects you to memorize is simply inconsiderate. She puts terms on her tests that she doesn't even review in class, she just expects you to know them. Her tests are essentially a regurgitation of information. You should avoid her, and Trinity should do the same.

The hardest class ever. Slides are a ton of facts; you'll basically need to memorize 200+ slides worth of facts for each exam. Assigns a semester long PBL that is annoying, and she doesn't remind you of anything or even guide you through it. DEFINITELY do not take this as a FRESHMAN!!!!!! :(

Very interesting and knowledgable professor, but perhaps the most disorganized person I have ever encountered. She didn't show up for class because she went to the wrong building. TWICE. in a class that met once every other week.

some people see her as disorganized, but her lectures are just that, LECTURES! if you listen to what she says and dont try to write down word for word what the slides say, you will do really well. Also, if you show some interest in what she is teaching she will love you. Very helpful for getting to know the neuro world and internships and such.

She is a nice person, but very disorganized. She'll skip through the slides mentioning random bits that are important. If she mentions something that is not on the slide and it is in the book, it will be on the test. If it is not in the book, it may be incorrect. You have to learn the material basically by yourself outside of class.

Has genuine interest in material but does not make it particularly interesting. Extremely unorganized with papers and lectures and the tests are very detailed. you must read the textbook for an A

She is a very nice person, she is genuinly interested and likes what she teaches, but she extremely unorganised person, she does not give prompt feedback on lab reports or papers. her lectures aren't well organised but the important information is still clear. the lab component isn't wonderful, its very unorganised, it doesn't seem very important

If you're on her good side, then class is a breeze. Don't expect her to go out of her way to get to know you (even your name), and don't expect an A. Most importantly, don't expect organization.
