Comment:
Once you learn to really listen in class Sarita is a great teacher. She knows what she is talking about and is willing to help you if you don't understand the concepts. Obviously if you don't need the course for a major I can see why people drop it, but if you can't afford to you will be fine. Tests and assignments are fair. Just study

She tries her best, and Knows what she's talking about but the language barrier was definitely super tough. By a few weeks you get use to her accent but if you're not that strong in math to begin with this class may be over your head. goes fast assuming you know the stuff already which nobody remembers from high school. get a tutor! worked for me.

impossible to understand...you would have better luck trying to self teach calc. or watching an instructor in japanese and trying to figure out what their saying by pure hand gesture...that's how impossible she is. Like many others that day, i walked right to the registar's office after class and dropped the course.

Prof. Gupta tries her best but it is hard to understand her. She only gives one or two examples of a question and moves on! She isn't very interactive and gives lots of assignments. Make friends fast in the class you'll need them.

If you haven't taken Calculus before, prepare to be super frustraded. Make some fast friends in that class or suffer alone. She means well, but is hard to understand and bad at getting her point across. Useless to ask questions, as she says she has no time to answer them, and proceeds to move onto the next thing, even if the whole class is lost.

trys hard, works like a typical math teacher who has back turned to class, cant make a full statment because dropped course due to lac of book. if you go to class and ask q's then she is easy to work with in her shared office.

Learned nothing from her classes, and when she was asked for extra help she said she was too busy. She knows what she is teaching but cannot clearly communicate that to the students. Would never take a class with her again, and wouldn't recommend her.

If you've already taken calculus, this class will drive you mad with how easy she makes the assignments; however, if you haven't already taken calculus, prepare for hours of frustration and self-learning. Etcha-squared!
