He handwrites all the notes in class. Be ready to copy whatever he writes as you'll never see those notes again. With the technology available this is embarrassing and criminal. That aside, there's great info given and the topics are interesting and insightful. No need to read the repro-text, at a minimum give it a glance. Essays for tests.

Long and boring lectures. Comes late sometimes. Nothing is posted online so you can't miss a class. The notes he provides are way too confusing for people that don't have economics background or knowledge. Assignments aren't too bad though and all tests are multiple choice so it can make you or break you.

Great prof, super knowledgeable. He writes the lecture notes as he goes, almost always without any references. Nothing is posted online, so super important to attend lecture and take notes. The textbook goes into much greater detail than lecture material but important for final exam.

Cant understand him, and yells at you for asking people wtf hes saying. Pushes due dates back and when I try to do them a day late he is a hypocrit and gets pissed at me He hates me bc I left my midterm at my desk instea of giving it to him, like who cares your paid to get them. I send him an email asking for a way to save my mark and he loses it

Great Guy. Good prof. The text covers a lot more material than what is required. If you want a good explanation of the material (and a good grade) you have to go to class. Prof Choudhry's writing is not the greatest and he does not post lectures online. Go to class and you will do fine.

Favourite prof and one of the best at Trent. Easy to understand and very helpful. Many people would skip his class and then complain about him not putting those notes up online. Seriously? Just go to class. It's worth it and he's much better than the standard textbook assigned by the department. Will definitely take his classes again.

No lecture slides or notes are posted online and there are two lectures per week. This demands reliance on an overly complicated MacroEcon textbook to catch up. He is knowledgable and explains concepts well, but I cannot recommend taking his class because of the lack of online content.

Chaudry is the best economics prof I have had so far. He is clear and concise, he makes sure you understand what he is trying to teach you. He does tend to go off on related tangents though.

It was actually painful to sit through his lectures. I'm not kidding, it actually hurt me. I would have loved to peel off my own skin just have something to throw at him. Also, He's entirely disorganized. If you're going to cheat your way though a class, this is the one in which to try.
