Felt like I was taking an honors course honestly. Heavy workload and tests felt like the studying and note cards didn't matter because the questions didn't feel like they were covered well. Don't expect Biology classes to be a cakewalk but come on. On a positive note, he's nice and knowledgeable, but very very difficult and harsh grader.

Gives good lectures and is very enthusiastic. I would take this teacher again, he knows his material and its an overall good class. If you study the material, you will pass the class. Homework is easy and fun labs.

Scott Benjamin knows his subjects very well. He is very passionate about biology and it is his life. He is very open minded person and it is always beneficial if you are a teacher and work with students . He gives a bunch of assignments, but for people whose major is biology it should be fine and not so difficult. Take a class with him!

WOREST TEACHER EVER!!! He gives a lot of assignments and he doesn't teach well. I don't think he even knows the material well. Also his tests are online but you will not be able to get a good grade unless you use google while taking the test. Also, he gave a paper to write based on 3 research articles which were freaking hard.

Benjamin is the man. Funny guy, keeps it interesting, has passion for the subject. One of the best at BHCC hands down. He keeps it real with expectations, willing to help, and overall good person. Testshw are average, just do the work, don't slack. Take him if you love BioENV, he'll make you love it more.

He is very passionate about science (especially sustainability) which resonated during my honors class. He's a bit flaky but was also very busy this semester; I think he's usually more organized. If I had a science left to take, I would take his class because my 3 hour honors class flew by.

Prof Scott is one of the best. His class requires you do the work in order to pass. He is very clear and often times funny when he teaches. I took him for both ENV 105 & 106. anyone who give him a poor rating is just a lazy butt looking pass without doing anywork. Thats Not going to happen in his classes. One of the best at BHCC.

He's funny. Good to talk after class, but not that clear in lecture. You have to read the book and do HW online. He doesn't cover everything in HW. You have to figure out by reading textbook mutiple times, making mistakes, using the hint, or ur own knowledge. Test was pull out by test bank, really similar to HW. Hard class. Study hard. Good luck!

great teacher, he is clear during lectures and gives lecture notes he will show in class. the only thing he does a lot his forgets something and will google it. the exams are hard, but it is a hard course. he is super helpful if you need it but also easy to talk to outside of the course. definitely recommend him.

No. Never anymore. Somebody said he looks hot. That's true. He is young and good looking but no..He is sort of fun during the class but he gives papers or tests..no.. he asks in tests more than he talks. so just memorize the book if u want A. But he looks great and his smile is awesome. So make your choice. me-nope..
