Very humble and easygoing prof. Always being patient with students and their work. You can meet him everytime to discuss and ask questions even not in office hours. He is very open with the discussion in marks as long as you can explain your answer. Humorous. Must say one of the best prof.

Really good prof. Explanations are very clear and, combined with the slides he posts online, cover just about everything on the subject. Nice, funny, and approachable. Assignments and midterm were really easy but there were a few curveballs on the final. Would take again.

Great professor, very funny and entertaining. Fair tests. Uses plenty of good examples. The exams were very straight forward. He's also great for 60-377. Easy to understand and very approachable for help. I would take any class he teaches. 254 isn't the hardest class, but very important. I'm very glad I had Goodwin for this course.

So.. I think he liked us? The first test was super tough, average was low. 60's, second test average was like 85 and the final was closer to the second test than it was the first test.. Ultimately i felt this class started harder than it ended up being, there is an adjustment period. It is, in my opinion, one of the most useful CS classes at windso

He doesn't really understand the material, too many confusion in front of the class => lose respect from many students & makes lecture not clear sometimes. Often let the class leave early because the other section wasn't on the same pace.
