Ive read so many good reviews about Scott on here and it makes me so sad to see that I didn't get the same benefit from him. He really liked me and I was always very sweet to him but god are his lectures so boring. He will go on about something and then go "why was i talking about that, idk".. Like no if you have nothing to teach me, let me leave!!

HE is the most amazing professor EVER! down to earth. I always looking forward to go to this class. Very insightful about life. Just one word "amazing". Do require participation, but once you in class, participation just come natural. Easy A. Interesting Assignments. Highly recommended.

Loved his class. He hates cell phone and will put the attention of class on you if he catches you. which he catches someone like everyday. o your work. everything is has to be typed or he will just send you home. if you dont try he doesnt care about you. But if you bring him you essay he will proof read it. Totally can get an A it's a great class.

Very great teacher. I had him for Fall 2008 english 100. He makes the class super fun, and he's down to earth. Never a boring moment in his class. He cares about his students and equally cares about his students learning. Your assignments are NEVER boring! I got an A in his class. Show up, pay attention, and you should do just fine. i actually took him for both 100 and 101. i love Professor Hays. he is awesome. the essays you write are free for you to interpret. you're not conformed to certain formatting and style. he's so helpful too, and always makes class interesting so you're done before you know it.

Nice teacher who, unlike most professors, wants to get to know his students. Very understanding and does give pretty interesting essay topics from movies we watch in class. He is willing to help you with your essays and his assignments are a piece of cake. I may consider taking him for English 101.
