Prof. Hendricks is the best professor I've ever had. He's incredibly clear and precise, challenging and interesting. He is also very kind, considerate, and funny. In every class I've had with him he's taken one or two classes to talk about academia and the varying motivations of profs, admins, etc. Goes to show how much he cares about his students.

Professor Hendricks is one of the best professors I have ever had. He is very interesting and intelligent, funny, and highly considerate. His class is difficult subject matter, but he makes it seem easy. He is very clear with what he is looking for, and highly reasonable with expectations. Also very helpful outside class. Just Fantastic.

Great guy. I've taken several classes with him. He is extremely clear, almost to a fault, and has a great sense of humor. He sometimes doesn't seem approachable, and he speaks very directly on some subjects, but get to know him and you'll be smarter for it. He is one of the best teachers I've ever had.

A delightful man. He is very wise and understanding. He's kinda like a big teddy bear who has really thought hard about stuff. Plus, you can't help but admire his sideburns.

In love with him. I had no previous philosophy background prior to taking Phil of Psych but still managed to get an A. He gives out review sheets so you are prepared and practically writes your papers for you! And YOU CAN BRING LAPTOPS. Just ask him first. Hendricks is the man, and my favorite prof to date.

I've taken multiple classes with this professor and he is by far one of the best teachers at clark. He is extremely helpful and wants to see every student succeed. Also, the stuff that comes out of his mouth in lectures sometimes is quite hilarious. Makes you want to attend class just for that reason. Defintiely take one of his courses.

He dosn̢۪t assign much work, (No paper longer than a page) but his classes should be avoided. He expresses ideas poorly. His tests require too much memorization of specific criticisms & arguments. His tests wouldn't be as bad if he printed the arguments that he wants students to discuss. He also enforces a prohibition on laptops.

He might be very knowledgeble but when it comes to expressing it he is just bad. His exams are perfect examples of hell on earth.

Comment:
Hendricks only assigns very short argument criticisms, minimal reading, and occasional homework questions. His tests are hard and require you to memorize arguments. He grades argument criticisms harshly and is overall a tough grader. He is easily accessible out of class though. PLEASE NOTE: This professor prohibits laptop use in class.

He is AMAZING! my favorite professor at this school. He is absolutely hilarious while still getting his point across very clearly. He is so brilliant, yet his social skills are very good. I think that is important. What is the point of being brilliant if you can't explain to anyone what you know! He is very understanding and very knowledgeable

Hendricks wants to be the best teacher ever, so he leactues clearly, has enormous amounts of office hours, will spend as much time helping you as you want, and communicates very well with the class. Logic is very difficult, but Hendricks makes it much better.

I honestly didn't care about philosophy one bit before I took this class, but he made it come alive for me. He's really helpful and his class is much more of a discussion that a boring lecture. He's really cool too - he can relate to us and tells really interesting stories, too. One of my best profs

He turns his class into a type of socratic seminar where people are discussing things instead of him just lecturing. The class is generally easy, and he'll cancel/skip a few classes when he feels like it. If you want to get rid of a VP, choose him
