Comment:
Dr. Herron made the class fun and very relaxed. Not everyone is comfortable with public speaking so he grades you on the content of your presentation - not the quality of your presenting. If you put in some effort and are respectful during peoples presentations you will do well in this class. If you skip class you won't.

Cares about students' opinions and success in the class. Sometimes he goes off topic and wastes some class time, but some of his tangents help explain how the material relates to the real world. Makes a point to learn his students' names. His powerpoints aren't that helpful for studying for exams. Use his study guides and read the book!

Very good lecturer. Kind and thorough. Don't miss class, the lectures are very helpful. He is considerate of your efforts if you're struggling. The quizzes and exams are all multiple choice so just know the material and you'll do fine.

WOW! I have never had such a bad prof. We start projects in class and never finish them. We have accomplished nothing and the two things we have turned in have taken way too long to get back. 5+ weeks to grade the first test. We were given the second test before we were given the first one back. Awful

Proffesor Herron is a totally cool guy he seems like the type of guy you can relate to as a science major. I really enjoyed his class and their is very little homework the tests are moderately difficult...and it doesnt hurt that he is pretty darn lab hot! haha.

i like prof. herron he is nice but his class is so easy. I can't handle listening to him talk about the things that everyone should already know. someone got him off topic once on evolution. if you want to debate that nothing evolved ever then take a class on evolution. People could not understand how all the birds are related way too simple. he needs something that challenges him too. my high school teacher was more challenging and i didn't pay for that

He gives plenty of information, all you have to do is study. He is very helpful if needed and he is a hottie for sure! But his labs...he talks for the first 20 minutes and the lab doesnt even take that long, oh well, I would recommend him for any class.

Hes a decent teacher. A big evolutionist so if you aren't into that be prepared. He pushes evolution. Everytime he talks I fall asleep even at my 3pm lab. He is very willing to help you understand he gives a lot of extra credit. I barely went to class, missed a test, and still pulled a C+ EASY!
